Hello! Welcome to the story page! I want to give you just a little back story on ACMS. We at Extreme Faith Productions started this event about 2 years ago in Arizona to help our local musicians find a voice in their community. The first event was more than we could have hoped for, we thought we would have 3 contestants and we ended up with 101 in 16 days! Since then the event has grown more and more each time. Our second event brought us to California and joined us with Spirit West Coast. Now in this next chapter we find ourselves blessed by a partnership with the Gospel Music Association to help bring the best of ACMS to Music in the Rockies, we are also working with World Vision to help connect independent artists with outreach opportunities. Here you will find comments from some of our past winner's and contestants, I hope they help you to better understand our heart in this. Please read on!

"Now is the time for the face of the church to shine. God is stirring up creativity in His people to serenade the world back unto Himself. It was amazing to be in a place where this was a reality in so many artists. When Asher went to ACMS we really had no idea what to expect. When we first arrived, we were immediately blown away at the 80 some artists, all completely unique and different and all very very good. The weekend was actually geared not so much in the "competition" aspect, but helping each artist to recognize their specific unique potential and anointing, and how to further develop that. There was a lot of one on one which took place. From demo critiques, to music industry seminars, it was just a time to gain a clear perspective on how it all works. Winning the competition did open doors for more exposure and industry awareness for our band. However, if you really go in to the weekend not for the sake of competing and winning, you will really obtain the fullness of how God is truly involved in your ministry. God really isn't pleased at the winner for winning, but He's pleased at the heart of the artists that attend in an effort to become excellent at the talent that He has entrusted in them to use for eternal values."

I entered the "original" catagory of the ACMS Competiton in the fall of 2004. This was my second time competing and I ended up winning second place and the opportunity to perform at Spirit West Coast Del Mar. Winning, however, was not even the most valuable thing I took away from the event. The industry contacts I made there and the professional feedback I received
gave me the foundation that I needed to begin seriously pursuing a career in songwrting. Days after the ACMS event I was contacted by a mangament company that heard me perform and through my conversations with them I gained much
insight into the industry and myself as an artist. I recently returned from the annual GMA Music in the Rockies event in Colorado (which I heard about through ACMS) where two of my contacts from ACMS were judges. This gave me a
head start in my networking efforts throughout the week. None of these milestones in my career would have come about had I not chosen to take part in ACMS. I would highly reccomend ACMS and a relationship with Extreme Faith Productions to any local Christian musican looking to take the next step.

"When Cele De made the decision to enter ACMS, we figured we had little to no chance of actually winning. We simply justified it as one of those "exposure opportunities." However, despite the EXTREMELY talented competition, God chose us to play at Spirit West Coast. Thanks partially to some promotion on our part, we had over one thousand listeners at our show. After our performance, we sold nearly 200 cds, got around 90 signups for our mailing list, and spent almost 45 minutes getting through the autograph line. In hindsight, signing up for ACMS was a small step of faith, but a giant step in clarifying God's vision for our band."
